4 Day Primate Safari Experience
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Volcanoes national park
Upon arrival, our professional driver guide will briefly take you through the trip plan and then drive you to volcanoes park. This will be after the Kigali city tour which will take you to the genocide memorial site where you will learn more about what transpired during the 1994 genocide tragedy. After the city tour, you will be we driven to volcanoes park for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking at Volcanoes national park

We shall go through the briefing at Kinigi park offices about the gorilla trekking exercise ,after through knowing about the whole exercise of gorilla trekking after that we shall set off to our respective gorilla family to be trekked, you will be accompanied by the park ranger and other porters to find the gorillas, this will take 3-5 hour after trekking, we shall return to the lodge for Hot lunch after we shall have 2 hours’ drive to Kisoro where we shall check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden monkey habituation
Leave for golden monkey habituation experience this is more than the usual trekking in in Mgahinga national park. The departure time for this trek is 7:00 am and before the trekking, you will first be briefed about the dos and don’ts of golden monkey habituation. The habituation exercise will take 6-7 hours. After the trek, you will have lunch and then drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is 1 hours’ drive from Kisoro.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking at Bwindi

Have an early morning wake up by 6:00am, for breakfast, by 7;00am leave for the park gate to enjoy our second gorilla trekking in the impenetrable forest, you walk through the jungle, this means after briefing, you guide will after that you will take 4-5 hours. After the trekking exercise, you will return back to the lodge for relaxation and drive back to Kigali for your flight back home.
