Detailed itinerary of 9 days tanzania wildlife safari tours
Day 1: Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel in Arusha town for overnight stay and dinner. Accommodation: Mount Meru hotel (Luxury)/ Tulia boutique hotel (Midrange)
Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We will depart from Arusha in the morning and travel to the Tarangire National Park where you can marvel at the colossal termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. The picturesque scenery and diverse bird life assist in creating the tranquil ambiance of the Tarangire National Park. The great elephant population is an extremely remarkable sight. African elephants are the largest land mammal and adult males can weigh as much as seven tons. Tarangire’s varied wildlife includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. When your game drive comes to an end, we will take you to Lake Manyara where you will get dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to lake natron
You will have breakfast at your lodge; you will drive to Lake Natron where you will enjoy seeing many flamingos at the lake shore. You will also engage in a walk to the waterfalls in the company of a Maasai guide. The hike to the waterfalls takes about 2 to 3 hours and takes place along the river bed with beautiful views of the valley. After your experience around Lake Natron, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: drive to serengeti national park (central)
You will be driven to Serengeti National Park after your experience in Lake Natron on day 4 of 9 days tanzania wildlife safari tour. You will engage in a safari around the northern part of Serengeti National Park around the Lobo area which is home to big cats such as lions and leopards. You will have lunch at your lodge after checking in as you prepare for a game drive to see different attractions and wildlife species in the northern part of Serengeti National Park. Your dinner and overnight after your game drive will be at your lodge in the central part of Serengeti National Park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park Full Day
On day 5 of 9 days tanzania wildlife safari tours, after breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.
Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson gazelles, which join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is just like you imagined Africa to be. Overnight at your camp.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Day 6 if 9 days tanzania wildlife safari tours, we will begin our day with an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated sunlight starts to illuminate the full landscape. Your guide will study the prints on the ground to pursue predators. We will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will be provided with dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Mtowa Mbu
After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so guests will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million years ago? A large volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano, but leaving a perfectly unbroken crater, known as a caldera. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas. In addition, there are flocks of graceful flamingos along Soda Lake, while hungry hawks and vultures circle the sky in search of their next meal of discarded carcass. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular water birds in the crater, a sight not to miss. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings, we will finally start our journey back to Manyara where you will overnight at.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park back to Arusha
In the morning, we will depart to Lake Manyara where we will spend the day and enjoy a delectable picnic lunch. The park is nestled at the base of the rusty gold Great Rift Valley escarpment and the scenic landscape is breathtakingly magnificent. An abundance of species is able to reside in the park due to the wide range of habitats. The park record consists of over 380 species of birds, some of which are migratory, making it the ideal location for bird watchers. Thousands of pink-hued flamingos occupy the margins of the lake; other large water birds include pelicans, storks and cormorants. The wildlife you can expect to see are buffalo, elephants, giraffe, impalas and the ferocious hippos that inhabit the water. Late afternoon you will proceed back to Arusha.

Day 9: Transfer to the airport.
