Detailed 3 Days Gorilla Tour Uganda- Gorilla Trekking

Day 1: Up pick & Transfer to Bwindi Forest national park

upon arrival at kigali international airport, you will be picked up by the experienced tour guide of Rwanda gorilla trek & transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park enjoying the sightseeing of the landscapes of Rwanda connecting to Uganda the pearl of Africa , Border crossing can be via Cyanike or Katuna depending on the time of your crossing. Dinner and over night at Lake Mutanda Resort, Ruhija Gorilla resort, Bwindi Community Camp, Gorilla Safari Lodge. Incase time allows , the traveler will be rewarded with the chance to view the sightseeing of Lake bunyonyi the second deepest lake in Africa.( Optional) Meal plan: H/B

Day2: Gorilla trekking adventure

After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the gorilla tracking in the forest sanctuary. The activity starts at 8.00am. You need to carry packed lunch, drinking water, and rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. The time taken to find the gorillas varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. An encounter with an earth shaking 350 pound silver back or a baby gorilla is very exciting and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Heritage lodge/Bunyonyi Resort/Bunyonyi overland camp. Meal plan: F/B

Actual day of Gorilla Trekking

Some groups start their Gorilla trek from the park headquarters, while others will have to drive to a starting point into the forest. You typically will not know until the day of if you will need to drive or start your trek from the headquarters.

Day3: Golden Monkey tracking in Mgahinga National Park or visit Bunyonyi -Kigali

After early morning break fast, the experienced guide will be ready there to see how to handle the entire day , if its bunyonyi lake view or golden monkey , and later return to Kigali at leisure, Lunch en-route, then after drive to Kigali at your hotel for dinner and overnight or Kigali airport for your return flight, meal plan: H/B

Optional safari travelers may select to visit the golden monkey to watch the other primates that are found in Mgahinga National Park which is part of the virunga mountain.  After golden monkey tracking the visitor will transfer to kigali Rwanda for their flight back home .
