Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali do COVID Test then Hotel
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver-guide who transfers you for a COVID 19 Test then later after, proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kigali Marriot Hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Volcanoes National Park then Karisoke Research Centre
Wake up have breakfast then proceed to board your flight to Volcanoes National Park. You will reach then proceed to the park and go to visit the Karisoke Research Centre where you learn about the prominent Dian Fossey who gave up her life to save that of the Mountain Gorillas which were hunted for meat at the time. After learning about the centre and Gorillas, proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Gorilla Nest.
Day 3: 1st Gorilla Trek in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours then after a while meet them and take numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla trekking, transfer back to the Park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to keep with you. Proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Gorilla Nest.
Day 4: 2nd Gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park (Another Gorilla Group)
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorilla group you are going to track then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours. Day 5: 3rd Gorilla Trek in Volcanoes National Park (Another Gorilla Group)
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorilla group you are going to track then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours. After a while meet them and take numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla trekking, transfer back to the Park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to keep with you. Proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Gorilla Nest.
Day 6: Fly to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to board your flight to Nyungwe Forest National Park. On reaching Nyungwe, proceed to check in your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Nyungwe House.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for a briefing on the code of conduct around the Chimpanzees then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger, enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Chimpanzee Tracking, proceed back to the park headquarters for your Chimpanzee Tracking Certificate then later go to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One and Only Nyungwe House.

Day 8: Full Day of Rest in Nyungwe
Wake up have breakfast then relax, and go swimming at the hotel for the whole day. Dinner and Overnight at One and Only Nyungwe House.
Day 9: Canopy Walk and Waterfall Hike then Fly to Kigali
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a Canopy Walk along Nyungwe’s Canopy Walkway then proceed on a Waterfall Hike. After the Waterfall Hike, proceed to board your flight to Kigali International Airport to board back home.
