Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

An early breakfast will be provided at your lodge. Following breakfast, you will partake in a wildlife observation excursion along the Sogore River Circuit, which encircles the plains south of the Seronera River, where you will encounter species such as lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. Following the morning game drive, you will visit the Visitor Centre located near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites. At the visitor center, a variety of local artworks and crafts will be displayed. A lunch break will be provided at the center beneath the shade of the towering acacia trees.

In the afternoon, we embark on an evening game drive to seek out what we overlooked on our morning excursion. Following the evening wildlife drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations.

Day 5: Travel from Serengeti to Karatu

Following breakfast, you will embark on a morning wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park as you depart the park. You will have a layover in Karatu to engage with the local community and observe their lifestyle, including local arts and crafts like beaded jewelry, learning about their traditional attire, visiting the Maasai homesteads known as “manyattas,” and witnessing cultural dance performances, among other activities. You will go to your lodge for a tranquil evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

You will enjoy breakfast at your lodge before proceeding to explore Tarangire National Park. Observe a diverse array of species, including large felines such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, alongside kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. The Tarangire River is home to several wildlife species, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles that drink from its waters. Following your game viewing experience, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park/Departure

Following an early breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, where you will observe a significant population of elephants frequently seen bathing in the Tarangire River, along with numerous giraffes, monkeys, impalas, lions, leopards, and various bird species.
