Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi
Enjoy your breakfast and prepare yourself getting ready to be picked up by our guide from your hotel. You will be briefed about the safari and then transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park crossing into Uganda through Katuna boarder. Pass by Lake Bunyonyi for sightseeing and proceed to Bwindi arriving later in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
Meals: Half Board
Day 2: Gorilla habituation & Transfer to Back to Kigali.
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide with your packed lunch who will drive you to the park headquarters where you will team up with the park ranger guides, your fellow trekkers for a briefing and then after head into the impenetrable forest for your Gorilla Habituation Experience.
The trek can last between 3 to 6 hours depending on where the gorilla family is located. After finding them, you will be allowed to stay with them for up to 4 hours getting familiar to humans and later exit the forest. Meet up with your driver/guide and transfer back to Kigali and drop off at Kigali international airport for your onward flight back home.
