Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or airport and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at the equator for photos and lunch in Mbarara city. Proceed to Bwindi arriving late afternoon. Check in for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Meals: Half Board
Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience.
After enjoying your breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will team up with the park ranger guides and researchers for briefing on gorilla habituation. Head into the impenetrable forest for your Gorilla Habituation Experience.
The trek can be anywhere between 3 to 6 hours depending on the location of the Gorillas. Once you find them, you will stay with them for up to 4 hours and later exit the forest. Meet up with your driver / guide and transfer back to the lodge.
Overnight: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Meals: Full Board
Day 3: Transfer to Jinja
Enjoy your tasty breakfast and transfer to Jinja with lunch en-route in Mbarara town and a stopover at the equator for photography. Proceed to Jinja arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Jinja City Hotel.
Day 4: Jinja back to Kampala.
Enjoy your breakfast and prepare to do some activities such as rafting, bungee jumping and so many others. Enjoy your lunch and embark on your journey back to Kampala and then drop off to the airport for your on ward flight back home.
