Journey plan
Day 1: City tour in Kigali
Arrival will bring the driver guide to pick you from the airport and then begin your scenic trip.

Day 2: Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and the Twin Lakes

You will be paired with a gorilla troop to follow after receiving an orientation on the rules and procedures for gorilla trekking at the Volcanoes Park headquarters. Following the briefing, you will go after the mountain gorillas. Follow the ranger guides’ instructions after you’ve found the gorillas. You will have up to an hour to spend with them.

Day 3 : Golden Monkey adventure in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer to Gisenyi
After breakfast, Head to the park’s headquarters for registration and briefing. After that you will head for the highlight of the day following the ranger’s directions in search for the golden monkeys. You are to be taught more about the monkeys, their behaviors, daily routines and dietary habits. History about the park is provided and you also get to experience the customs and cultures of the surrounding communities. You are told about the formation of the features and also the survival of the golden monkeys and other fascinating stories from the ranger. Day 4: Travel to Nyungwe National Park
You are to be transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park after your early morning breakfast. Here you are to do Chimpanzee trekking as it is done here in Rwanda. The park is located on the Boarder of Burundi and Rwanda south of Lake Kivu. You are to check int you lodge in the evening where you wave diner and prepare for the chimpanzee trek for the next day.
Day 5: Chimp trekking and a Canopy Walk
As this is the last Activity on the Agenda of your splendid agenda, you are to head-out early in the morning for your Chimpanzee Trek after having breakfast. The Forest is home to 13 different primate species including the chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys and in addition to that are over 300 different bird species. Your guide will lead you to the briefing point and there you chimp trek journey will begin. After your afternoon meal you will head for a canopy walk.
