Day 1: Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda, with an estimated driving duration of 8 to 9 hours from Kampala. The expedition includes a layover at the equator for a photographic opportunity and a hydrological experiment. Subsequently, proceed to drive for an additional stop in Mbarara along the route. You will proceed directly to the park. Upon arrival, register at the lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

On the second day of the 7 days Uganda Double Gorilla Trek  Awake early in the morning, eat breakfast, transport your packed lunch boxes, and hydrate with mineral water. Your driver guide will transport you to the gorilla trekking headquarters for the briefing. Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Gorilla Trekking: Rise early and ready for another remarkable gorilla trekking adventure in the Ugandan location of Mgahinga National Park. Partake in breakfast and bring your packed lunch boxes, then rendezvous with your driver for transportation to the park headquarters for the gorilla briefing. Following the briefing, you will convene with a park ranger who will allocate you to your designated gorilla group based on your accommodation sector. The action may need approximately 7 hours, contingent upon their location within the forest.

During the journey, anticipate encountering many primate species, including macaques, chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, as well as diverse plant species and avian life.
