Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Wildebeest Migration and Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi City for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve – the most iconic wildlife reserve in the world and home to the Big Five as well as the Great Migration. Along the journey you will enjoy spectacular views of the Rift Valley at the View point, continue to the reserve arriving in time for lunch, check in and enjoy your meals.
In the afternoon you will head out for a game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara Safari Experience Following the Great Migration
Spend these two days exploring the savannah plains of Masai Mara on game drives following the Great Migration. With your packed lunch, head to the reserve for game drives giving you an opportunity to see large herds columns as they trek through the Masai Mara plains in search for green pastures and water.
Head to Mara River where you will watch the herds crossing the river and facing offer with the predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African wild dogs along the banks of the river ad crocodiles in Mara River.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site along the Mara River under a shady tea, and go for another game drive. At sunset you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and journey to Lake Nakuru National Park a famous Kenya safari destination known for Rothschild giraffes, rhinos and flamingoes seen on the shores of the lake. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in and have a short rest.
In the afternoon you will go for a game drive in search for various animals such as black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, elands and spot various birds including rare species such as Lesser and Greater Flamingos, African fish eagle among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park a popular national park in Kenya known as home to large herds of elephants and the beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa.
On arrival in the park you will be welcomed by the magnificent backdrop of the snowcapped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will spot several animals such as large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and elands among others. Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive to Nairobi and Fly to Entebbe
Have an early breakfast and head to Nairobi with en-route game drive in Amboseli. You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight to Entebbe International Airport.
On arrival you will be welcomed by our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kampala for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop at Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for pictures and a chance to stand in Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Have another stop in Mbarara for lunch and continue to the park arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Have an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts conducted by a senior ranger guide. In groups of 8 people you will head into the forest looking for a gorilla family assigned to you
The trek takes approximately 3 to 5 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. You will spend one hour in the presence of the gorillas watching them play, feed and groom each other. You are free to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off. Return to the park headquarters to pick your gorilla trekking certificates and return to your lodge for an evening of relaxing, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure
Today is the last day of your safari, wake up early for breakfast, check out and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next adventure.
