1 Day Mgahinga Gorilla Trek, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda and it’s among the four national parks that are home to the endangered mountain gorillas in Africa. This 1 Day breathtaking adventure starts in Kigali early in the morning and ends at Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. During the drive to the park, you have a chance to take in the stunning and breathing views of the “land of thousand hills” (Rwanda). The park has one habituated gorilla family Known as Nyakagezi. The trekking is only done in the morning and 8 people are allowed to visit the group daily. There is no better vacation to take if you have limited time in Africa and want to visit these gentle giants the mountain gorillas in the natural dwelling.

Detailed Itinerary for your 1 Day Mgahinga gorilla Trek.

This 1 Day Rwanda Gorilla Trek begins at Kigali very early in the morning at 4:00 am starting with breakfast at your hotel/ lodge. After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and you will head to Mgahinga gorilla national park the thick green forest with its inhabitants the gentle giants. The Drive to Mgahinga is 2-3 hours. At the park headquarters you will receive briefing from the ranger about the unique code of conduct while you’re around the Mountain Gorillas. Then after this you will be divided into groups of 8 people with a park ranger, you will proceed to the starting point where you will start your trek in search of the Gorillas in their natural thick forest habitat. Upon finishing with your trekking experience, you will descend at the park headquarters, meet your guide and then transfer to the lodge to have lunch. After lunch, drive to Kigali international airport, End of your 1 Day Mgahinga gorilla national park.
