Detailed Itinerary for your 1-day Bwindi Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Transfer- kigali to Bwindi Forest National

You will be picked up from your hotel in kigali after enjoying your tasty breakfast, by our company guide who will drive you through the rolling hills of Rwanda as you head towards Gorilla Trekking-territory.

Before you leave Rwanda be well prepared with your packed snacks, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and hiking boots and other gear.

Gorilla trekking starts with a briefing at the park headquarters about the rules and regulations about the gorillas within their habitat. After this you will be divided into groups of 8 people. The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is impulsive, it can approximately range from 1 to 4 hours depending on the location of these gorillas. Please note upon encountering these gentle giants in their habitat only one hour is offered to you. This experience is extremely unforgettable as you view these gorillas feed, jump, eat and how they go about their daily activities. After the trek drive back to kigali 3-4 hours’ drive, with en route lunch at Kabale. You will reach in kigali by 6:30 pm.
